Realty Capital Manages $3 Million in Recent Land Sale Deals
ORLANDO, Fla. (June 6, 2006) -- Realty Capital, one of the fastest growing commercial real estate service providers in the market, recently managed the sale of three parcels of land totaling more than 18 acres and nearly $3 million. So far this year, the firm has managed 31.2 acres and $10 million in total land sale transactions.
Recent land sale projects are:

A 10.5-acre tract of land in Poinciana located on Avenue B, which sold for $1.4 million. Realty Capital’s Senior Vice President Austin Caruso, Jr., SIOR, and Vice President Quentin Caruso, CCIM, represented the buyer CMC Metals, an international steel and metal products company based in Irving, Texas. Ted Bywater represented the seller Poinciana Triad I LLP.

3.02 acres on East Colonial Drive, which sold for $1.1 million. Austin Caruso, Jr. and Quentin Caruso represented the sellers -- John Cash & Stewart Hall. The buyer was Noah's GP, Inc.

A five-acre nursery with greenhouse in Apopka located at 1808 Plymouth Sorrento Road, sold for $445,000. Realty Capital’s Vice President David Wright, CCIM, and Senior Associate Darryl Dotherow represented the seller Susan Lewis. The buyer was Lisa McCarthy Revocable Trust.
In addition, the firm is experiencing strong leasing and investment sales activity. So far this year, Realty Capital has managed 55 lease transactions, totaling $7.6 million and nearly 141,000 square feet; and 12 investment sales projects totaling $27.9 million and more than 157,000 square feet. Century Realty Trust’s sale of 2035 West SR 434, Longwood -- a Miami-Subs restaurant they owned since 1979. The building sold for $800,000. Realty Capital’s Senior Vice President Tom Hankins, SIOR, CCIM, managed the transaction.

The $2.4 million sale of the 15,000-square-foot 500 East Colonial Drive office building. David Wright represented the seller -- North Mills Medical Plaza LLC.

The leasing of 5,284 square feet to Sherwin Williams and 4,467 square feet to Ossinsky & Capguard in the 2699 Lee Road Building. David Wright and Stephen Caruso, senior associate, represented the building owner.

FAS Windows, Inc. of Orlando’s five-year lease from ProLogis in a 15,000 square-foot space in the Tampa West Distribution Center. Austin Caruso, Jr. represented the company.
