Realty Capital Facilitates the Sale of Key Land Parcel at Entrance of New Clermont Shopping Center
ORLANDO, Fla. (January 30, 2006) — Realty Capital, one of the fastest growing commercial real estate service providers in the market, announced the sale of 2.2 acres of land at the southeast corner of Grand Highway & State Road 50 in Clermont, Florida. The parcel sold for $1.7 million and is slated for development as a Golden Corral Restaurant. Frank Ayers, a vice president at Realty Capital who has worked extensively with the restaurant’s local franchise operations, served as transaction broker on behalf of the sellers -- Sebastiano & Antonia Poma -- and buyer -- Clermont GC, LLC, an affiliate of Maitland-based Metro Corral Partners.
Metro Corral Partners is owned and operated by Eric Holm and has 22 Golden Corral Restaurants in Central Florida and Metro Atlanta. Golden Corral, named #1 Grill Buffet Restaurant Chain for the past nine years by Nations Restaurant News, has 470 units nationwide with 2004 gross sales of 1.34 billion.
The proposed restaurant will be located at the Highway 50 entrance to the community shopping center being developed by the McGill Property Group at the intersection of Highway 50 and US Highway 27.
